Google officially
introduced “Rich Cards”
and added as a subcategory under Search Appearance in Google's
webmaster Tool.
According to Google, Rich
Cards is an enhancement of Rich Snippets and currently only available
for movie and recipe websites. Rich Cards is one of many other ways
to provide accurate data to Google search about events, products,
recipes etc. Different devices display data in a variety of formats
to users.
For now these results only
being shown in mobile search results in English for google.com. There
are very strong chances that Google might expand it to more number of
websites in future.
